Our Priorities

Californians For A Better Future is focused on supporting candidates and public policies affecting five critical issue areas: Intelligent Community Planning; Job Creation; Housing; Education; Health Care and Public Safety. We believe these issues are vital to the success of our state and our local communities.

Intelligent Community Planning

Californians for a Better Future supports well-managed community planning to prevent over-development and protect the quality of life for local residents.

We oppose rampant high-density development that overcrowds local schools and streets.

Job Creation

Californians For A Better Future supports economic policies which help to attract and retain jobs, and which promote a positive environment for business and entrepreneurial success.

We believe that the best social program is a good paying job.

Housing

Californians For A Better Future supports common sense land use policies which promote home ownership and provide affordable housing choices for California residents of all income levels. It’s time to make the dream of home ownership more achievable for all California families.

Education

Californians For A Better Future believes strongly in the value of a well-educated workforce. We support educational policies which encourage student academic success; expand job training opportunities; and direct more resources into our school classrooms where they belong.

Health Care

Californians For A Better Future supports policies which promote consumer choice and provide greater access to quality health care for California families. We strongly oppose the elimination of private health insurance coverage.

Public Safety

Californians For A Better Future believes that public safety is a primary responsibility of state and local government. We support innovative crime fighting measures and policies that provide our police officers, firefighters and criminal prosecutors with the resources needed to protect our communities.
